The newest Italian private carrier - Aeroitalia will launch 29 new routes out of Milan Bergamo airport next summer-season, among which are Tirana, Bucharest and Bacau.
Milan Bergamo - Tirana flights will start on 26th March and will operate once a day, seven times a week with Boeing B737-800 aircraft. Aeroitalia will directly compete with Wizz Air and Albawings on this route, which together operate up to 19 weekly flights. Tirana Airport is also connected with Milan Malpensa Airport with over 16 flights per week by Wizz Air and Air Albania.
Milan Bergamo - Bucharest Otopeni Airport flights will also start on 26th March and will operate seven times a week, once a day throughout the season with Boeing B737-800 jet. The airline will directly compete with Wizz Air and Ryanair on the route which together operate up to 22 flights a week on the route, as well as with Ryanair which operate four times a week to the Malpensa airport of Milan.
Milan Bergamo - Bacau flights started yesterday, on 11th December. Aeroitalia has already scheduled four round-trip flights on this route for this winter-season, on 18th and 23rd December and on 6th and 8th of January. Flights will start again as of 26th March and will operate four times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with Boeing B737-800 aircraft. The airline will directly compete with Wizz Air on this route which operates three weekly flights to Bergamo.
