Air Astana plans to operate to Podgorica this summer season. The airline has already scheduled flights on two routes to Podgorica. The airline of Kazakhstan launched flights to Podgorica from Nur-Sultan and Almaty in the summer season of 2021 and planned to continue the operations to Montenegro during the winter season as well, but canceled these plans later.
Almaty - Podgorica route will be resumed on 1 June. The flights will operate four times a week this summer, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday until 10 September. This is double then last summer when only two or three weekly rotations were operated with a mix of Airbus A321neo and A320neo jet. This time, only Airbus A321neo aircraft will be deployed.
Nur-Sultan - Podgorica flights are scheduled to be resumed on 5 June. They will operate twice a week as they did last summer, every Thursday and Sunday only with Airbus A321neo aircraft with 175 seats capacity in two class configuration, 28 in business and 147 in economy class. The flights on this route will operate until 11 September.
