Air Cairo to launch Ljubljana service!

Air Cairo will launch flights between Hurghada and Ljubljana this October. The airline which is already operating on four routes to the Balkan this summer season, will increase the connectivity even more by starting operations to Slovenia on 1st October. The flights on this route will operate until late March 2023.

The flights will be operated once a week, every Saturday via Skopje. The flight to Skopje will depart at 02:05 in the morning and will arrive in Macedonia at 04:20. From there, it will depart to Ljubljana at 05:00 and will arrive in Ljubljana at 06:30. After one hour turn-around at Ljubljana, the aircraft will depart to Hurghada at 07:30 and will arrive at its final destination at 12:15. Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats capacity is deployed on these two routes.

Hurghada - Skopje route will be operated once instead of twice a week during the winter-season which begins on 30th October, every Saturday. The return flight, as mentioned above, will be operated via Ljubljana which means that the aircraft will make a stop in Slovenia before returning to Egypt. Although Skopje and Ljubljana will be connected once a week, the carrier has no rights to sell tickets for flights between the two capitals only.

Hurghada - Sarajevo and Banja Luka flights will be operated once a week during the winter, every Friday with Airbus A320 aircraft while Hurghada - Belgrade route will be operated three times a week, every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday also with A320 jet.
