According to Ex-Yu Aviation, the Montenegrin government has named Saša Radović as Air Montenegro’s new acting CEO, replacing Dragana Frantov Nikolić. Mr Radović is not from the aviation industry and was previously the head of the Montenegrin National Tourism Organisation. He is closely associated with the Democratic Party of Socialists, which is headed by the country’s President. Ms Frantov Nikolić was a temporary solution although she has had over two decades of experience in the industry including at Jat Airways, Air Serbia and Aeroflot. She has been with Air Montenegro since its foundation. Air Montenegro issued a public call for the CEO position in March, however, no candidate has been selected by the government as Mr Radović has also been named as a temporary acting CEO.
