Air Montenegro reveals summer expansion!


Air Montenegro has revealed its summer schedule and expansion which includes the launch of three new routes to France. The Montenegrin carrier will launch flights from Podgorica to Paris Charles De Gaulle, Lyon and Nantes, restore the flights from Tivat to Ljubljana and Banja Luka and will increase the flights to Istanbul this summer season.


Tivat - Istanbul flights will be operated up to seven times a week this summer season with Embraer E195 aircraft.


The flights from Podgorica to Ljubljana will be operated three times a week from March to June. As of 20 June they will be operated from Tivat instead of Podgorica and will be increased on four times a week until 12 September. The carrier will once again operate from Podgorica to Ljubljana from 16 September until 28 October.


Podgorica - Paris route will be launched on 9 April and will operate three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday during the summer season. On May 6, the flights will be increased on four times a week and will operate on the same days including every Friday. The carrier will compete with Transavia France on this route which plans to launch services from Paris Orly to Podgorica this summer.


Podgorica - Lyon and Nantes route will be launched on May 7 and both will operate once a week, every Saturday until late October. Embraer E195 aircraft will be deployed on all routes.


Among this expansion, Air Montenegro will again operate on the route Tivat - Banja Luka this summer season. The flights will be restored on 3 June and will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday until 16 September.


The carrier also plans to increase the flights from Tivat and Podgorica to Belgrade this summer in order to offer better connection between these cities.
