Air Serbia will increase the flights to Moscow and will deploy its single wide-body aircraft on the route. The airline already deployed its Airbus A330 aircraft to Moscow for todays flight as well as for this Friday and Sunday. The A330 will also be deployed on 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th and 13th of March.
Air Serbia will increase the flights from Belgrade to Moscow Sheremetyevo from eight to 15 times a week as of today, and will operate twice a day on this route on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, three times a week on Fridays and Sundays and once on Tuesdays in March. It comes after Aeroflot was forced to suspend the flights to Belgrade as Europe closed its airspace for Russian aircraft a few days ago.
Air Serbia is currently the only carrier in the Balkan to offer direct flights to Moscow which makes the demand for this route even higher as the airline offers connection flights from Skopje, Tirana, Podgorica, Tivat, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Sofia and Bucharest as well as from all other destinations of their network.
