This weekend, Air Serbia will organize an event within the hiring process to select new cabin crew members (Assessment Day), for the first time after a two year pause. The Serbian national airline will gather the candidates at the Air Serbia Operations building at the airport in Belgrade.
Over 200 candidates have applied to the call for new cabin crew, which was open from 18 March to 2 April.
“We are glad that, after a two year pause, caused by the pandemic and operations in difficult circumstances, we are now again able to organize the call and we await the candidates with great pleasure. We are especially glad because of the great interest of young people who wish to join our truly exceptional cabin crew team, and become proud ambassadors of the brand of the national airline. An exciting and challenging summer season awaits us, with many flights and destinations, so for that reason, we are opening our doors to new co-workers, in order to together contribute to the achievement of planned goals and provide the highest quality service to our passengers,” stated Milica Netković, GM People and Performance.
The candidates will undergo a series of tests and exams, created in order to ensure the highest operating standards, necessary for performing the duty of cabin crew, are met. The criteria for evaluating the candidates pertains to the level of fluency in English, readiness to help out a passenger, degree of motivation and the desire to become a team of the national airline and provide top-of-the line service to passengers.
The selected candidates will have the opportunity to meet with the recruitment experts of Air Serbia, discuss their professional interests, get familiar with the work dynamic and learn more about the benefits of the workplace training program which the national airline offers to all members of its cabin crew team. In this way, the candidates will get information about Air Serbia’s operations first-hand, as well as the professional opportunities offered.
The call is organized for the twelfth time since 2013, including the events held in Banja Luka, Podgorica, and twice in Niš. Air Serbia organized the previous call for cabin crew members in February 2020, shortly before the breakout of the global coronavirus pandemic.
