The fifth ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft of Air Serbia has got its new livery yesterday. The aircraft will be registered YU-ASA. This ATR72 previously was operated by Aer Lingus with registration EI-FAW. It was parked at Exeter Airport in Ireland since the pandemic and yesterday departed for the first time to Dusseldorf Monchengladbach Airport where it was painted into Air Serbia livery.
Once YU-ASA features the cabin of Air Serbia, it will enter into service this month. This will be the fifth ATR72-600 of Air Serbia which is meant to replace another ATR72-200 jet of the airline. Among these five ATr72-600s, Air Serbia has three ATR72-200s, one ATR72-500, 11 Airbus A319s, two Airbus A320s one of which is sharklets and two Airbus A330-200s ( Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin ). One Airbus A320 jet of Dan air is also leased for Air Serbia currently.
