The national carrier of Serbia, Air Serbia plans to introduce flights from its main hub in Belgrade to Cuba in Havana this winter season. This should be the first exotic route that the carrier plans to launch this winter and will be the first time that Serbia and Havana are directly connected with scheduled non-stop flights.
“We are starting to consider long haul flights to some exotic destinations. In that respect, we are looking towards the East and the West. One such destination, that is looking more and more certain this winter, is Havana” - the CEO of Air Serbia, Jiri Marek said.
Air Serbia previously announced that it will be launching one weekly service to Tianjin in China this October and plans the introduce of the flights from Belgrade to Chicago in April 2023. Second Airbus A330-200 aircraft is expected to be added to the fleet of the Serbian carrier this October.
