Air Serbia reduces the flights to its Balkan destinations!


Air Serbia has reduced the flights from Belgrade to Skopje, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Tirana and Bucharest and has suspended the flights to Sofia and Thessaloniki due to a lower demand in February.


The flights between Belgrade and Skopje will operate four times a week until 21 February, every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday with ATR72 aircraft. As of late February the route will be increased on daily operations.


Belgrade - Sarajevo route will be operated only three times a week during the upcoming period, every Monday, Friday and Sunday. The Thursday rotation will be added again in late February. Four weekly flights are planned for March. ATR72 aircraft is deployed.


The flights between the Serbian and the Croatian capital will operate only twice a week, every Monday and Friday until 18 February. Then, the route will be increased on five times a week and will be operated every day except on Tuesday and Wednesday. ATR72 aircraft is deployed to Zagreb as well.


Belgrade - Ljubljana route will operate five times a week until the end of the month, every day except on Tuesdays and Saturdays with ATR72 turboprop aircraft. This route was operated nine times a week previously.


The services to the Albanian capital will be operated five times a week, twice a day on Monday and once on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday until late February. As of late February, the flights will be increased on eight times a week. ATR72 aircraft is deployed.


Belgrade - Bucharest route will be operated only twice a week this month, every Monday and Friday. Air Serbia has direct competition on this route with TAROM which will also continue its operations from the Romanian to the Serbian capital. ATR72 aircraft is deployed.


Belgrade - Sofia route is suspended and will not be in operation until 3 March. Once the flights resume, they will operate every Monday, Thursday and Saturday during the month. ATR72 aircraft is deployed on this route. The flights to Thessaloniki will be resumed a day later, on 4 March and will operate every Monday and Friday with Airbus A319 aircraft during the month.


The flights to Athens will be operated three times a week, to Podgorica 15 times a week and to Tivat 11 times a week during the month.
