Air Serbia has announced it will launch flights from Belgrade to Gothenburg, Hamburg, Cologne and Marseille next summer-season. This is the second part of their new summer expansion of 2023. Previously, the carrier announced flights from Belgrade to Florence, Naples, Palermo and Catania.
The flights to Hamburg will be launched on 15th May, to Gothenburg and Cologne on 18th May and to Marseille on 20th May. All routes except Marseille will be operated three times a week.
The Serbian carrier operated scheduled flights to Hamburg until 2019 before. Since then, Wizz Air launched this route with three weekly rotations. Flights to Gothenburg were operated until 2013 by JAT Airways, while Belgrade - Marseille route will be the first time to be launched. Air Serbia will directly compete with Wizz Air on the flights to Hamburg and Gothenburg and it will be the only carrier to operate to Cologne and Marseille.
Among with these eight new routes, Air Serbia will launch Tianjin service on 9th December and Malaga service on 18th December of this year, as well as Nis - Zurich service on December 21st. Flights to Chicago will also be launched next summer.
