Air Serbia to operate on four Russian destinations this winter season!

The Serbian national carrier will continue its operations to Rostov on Don, Krasnodar and Saint Petersburg into the upcoming winter season. Air Serbia planned to operate on these three routes until the end of September first, but later they decided to continue the flights until the end of the summer season i.e. late October with option they to be continued during the winter as well.

The airline will operate two weekly flights to these routes, every Friday and Sunday to Krasnodar and Rostov on Don and every Wednesday and Saturday to Saint Petersburg, all with Airbus A319 aircraft. These schedule is planned for all of the upcoming months in the winter season, i.e. until late March 2022.

Air Serbia will continue its operations to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport as well. Eight weekly flights are planned for this route. They will operate once a day and twice a day on Fridays only. Airbus A319 aircraft will operate on this route from Monday to Saturday while Airbus A320 is deployed on Sundays.

Belgrade - Rostov on Don route was launched during the pandemic and was planned to operate during the summer season only, however the route will continue with operations as of November as well due to the good demand.

“We are happy with the success achieved with our services to the Russian Federation, as it indicates the promptness in adjusting to changes on the market. Rostov-on-Don is the third completely new destination in our network since the beginning of the pandemic, which is an additional reason to be satisfied with the results of this well-thought-out, but also very brave, decision. We continue to monitor the global situation and we react quickly to all changes in travel restrictions in order to use every opportunity and offer as many options as possible to our passengers,” said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia when the flights for October were announced.
