Air Serbia has launched the flights on three new routes from Belgrade last week: Bologna, Nuremberg and Salzburg. Air Serbia will operate flights to Bologna, its sixth destination in Italy, to which there were no direct flights from Belgrade before, three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights to Nuremberg, the eighth Air Serbia destination in Germany, in addition to Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf and Hanover from Belgrade, as well as Frankfurt-Hahn and Cologne from Niš, will be operated twice a week - Mondays and Fridays. The Serbian national airline will fly to its second destination in the popular Alpine country, after Vienna, three times a week during the summer season – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, as well as twice a week in the winter season.
"After establishing flights to Trieste and Bari in Italy, as well as Hanover in Germany, we are glad to further strengthen our presence in those countries. Thanks to the latest expansion of our network, we will make tourist and business travel significantly more convenient and contribute to strengthening ties with Italy and Germany, which are traditionally very interesting destinations for our passengers", said Bojan Aranđelović, Head of Network Planning & Scheduling at Air Serbia.
“We are very happy that by introducing this service, we are contributing to the strengthening of the air connection between Serbia and Austria, an extremely important market for our country due to its large Serbian diaspora. We are sure that Salzburg, as an important tourist destination due to its proximity of the Alps and ski resorts, baroque architecture and numerous sights it offers, will be an attractive option for planning a vacation to our passengers”, said Bojan Aranđelović, Head of Network Planning & Scheduling at Air Serbia.
