WizzAir has deployed 6th aircraft at Skopje base on July 10th due to the high demand. The airline previously deployed four Airbus A321 aircraft to 27 destinations across Europe. Among these four aircrafts, WizzAir uses one Airbus A320 aircraft five times a week for the flights to Dortmund only.
Due to the fact that Airbus A321 aircraft needs more flight attendants than the A320, Skopje base needed more crew during these busy days. Becouse of this, the airline deployed another, fifth Airbus A321 aircraft wet - leased from Hi Fly in Skopje. The aircraft arrived at Skopje base from Portugal on July 10 with pilots and flight attendants and it is deployed on some routes.

WizzAir still operates 12 flights maximum a day from Skopje base but with six aircrafts due to lack of cabin crew. Most of the flights are operated to Basel and Dortmund while least flights to Treviso and Rome Champino this month.
The situation is similar in Bucharest OTP base as well where the carrier deployed one wet - leased Airbus A320 aircraft of GetJet Airlines. Another, Boeing B737-800 aircraft is wet - leased for Milan Malpensa base.
WizzAir expects even more flights from Skopje in August.
