The Croatian national carrier has deployed the 144-seat Airbus A319 aircraft for its daily rotations from Zagreb to Paris and Amterdam this month. The airline previously operated mostly with the 76-seat Q400 aircraft on these routes. Among the A319, the carrier has deployed the 174-seat Airbus A320 aircraft to operate at least once a week to Paris and Amsterdam. An Airbus A319 aircraft will also be mostly deployed to Brussels as of this Sunday. The Airbus A319 aircraft has nearly double seat capacity then the Bombardier Q400 aircraft which was deployed to Amsterdam since January this year. This will significantly increase the passenger numbers for Zagreb Airport in August.
Among Croatia Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines operates two daily flights on this route with Boeing B737-800 aircraft.
Air France also operates once a day from Paris Charles to Zagreb with Embraer E170 and E175 aircrafts by Air HOP.
Croatia Airlines now operates with the Airbus A319 to 9 international routes in total: daily to Paris and Amsterdam, Dublin, London Heathrow, Copenhagen, Brussels, Frankfurt, Zurich and Skopje. Most of these routes are also operated by the Q400 aircraft, such as Skopje, Zurich, Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Brussels.
