The Croatian national carrier will launch five new routes from Split this summer season. The carrier will start flights to Amsterdam, Dublin, Stockholm, Bucharest and Milan and will restore the operations to Athens which were suspended because of the pandemic as well as the operations to Prague which were launched last year.
Split - Stockholm: 10 June, twice a week ( Friday & Sunday )
Split - Bucharest: 10 June, twice a week ( Wednesday & Friday )
Split - Dublin: 12 June, three times a week ( Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday )
Split - MIlan Malpensa: 12 June, twice a week ( Thursday & Sunday )
Split - Amsterdam: 14 June, once a week ( Tuesday )
The flights on all new routes will operate until late September. The airline will directly compete with SAS, Norwegian and TUI on the flights to Stockholm, with Blue Air on the flights to Bucharest, with Aer Lingus and Ryanair on Dublin service, with easyJet on Malpensa flights and with KLM and easyJet on Amsterdam operations.
All of these routes were previously operated from Zagreb base but were suspended as a result of the ongoing pandemic. The carrier previously said that is searching new opportunities and flights from Split and Dubrovnik as Ryanair is further and further expanding its operations from Zagreb.
Croatia Airlines offers 30% discount on these new routes until 28 March by entering the code "SPLIT30".
