Croatia has become the fourth country in the Balkan to close its airspace for Russian aircraft. The Government made this decision yesterday on 27 February. This will affect the flights of Aeroflot and Nordwind Airlines from Moscow Sheremetyevo as well as the flights of Rossiya Airlines from Saint Petersburg. All flights on these routes are now canceled until further notice.
Zagreb Airport also lost its connection with Kyiv a few days ago after Windrose Airlines was forced to suspend all flights until further notice.
Previously, Slovenia, Bulgaria and North Macedonia closed its airspaces for the Russian aircraft as well as many other countries in Europe.
