German Eurowings has launched the flights on its new route to Belgrade from Dusseldorf past Sunday, 15 May. The flights will operate every Friday and Sunday this week and every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 25 May to 12 June. Then they will be reduced on three times a week and will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in June and every Monday, Friday and Sunday in July. As of 1st of August Eurowings will again increase the services on this route on four times a week until late March 2023. Airbus A319 aircraft is deployed on most of the flights.
Air Serbia will directly compete with Eurowings on this route. The Serbian national carrier is operating five times a week on this route, every day except on Tuesday and Saturday with Airbus A319 aircraft.
Eurowings will also operate three times a week on the route Stuttgart - Belgrade this summer season where it will also continue to compete with Air Serbia which is operating three times a week on this route as well.
