Five different carriers will increase the number of the weekly rotations to Skopje starting July 1. Even three of them will finally operate as they did before the pandemic, in 2019.
Austrian Airlines will increase the flights between Vienna and Skopje from 13 on 14 times a week. The national carrier of Austria will operate twice a day, every day on this route will Airbus aircrafts only. The airline will no longer use the Embraer E195 aircraft on this routes, the afternoon flights will mostly be operated with Airbus A320 while the remaining and evening flights with AIrbus A319 aircraft. The airline has also retired its all Bombardier Q400 fleet this month. The Q400 aircraft of Austrian was very busy at Skopje past winter.
Pegasus Airlines is the second airline to operate between Istanbul Sabiha and Skopje like it operated before the pendemic. The Turkish private airline will operate even more flights per week now then in 2019. Firstly, Pegasus has increased its flights to Skopje from six to seven times a week by returning the Sunday rotation which is already in operation. Secondly, Pegasus will operate eight times a week on this route by adding second daily rotation every Sunday. Airbus A320 aircraft is deployed on this route.
Fly Edelweiss will also operate to Skopje with the same number of weekly rotations as they operated before the pandemic. The airline will operate four times a week from Zurich to Skopje as of July 2, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Air Serbia will further increse the flights from Belgrade to Skopje from seven to eight times a week. The airline will operate twice a day every Monday and Friday and once every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. ATR72 aircraft is deployed on this route.
LOT Polish AIrlines will further increase the flights from the Capital of Poland to Skopje, this time from four to five times a week. The airline will add Friday rotation and will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Warsaw to Skopje. Embraer E195 aircraft is deployed on this route except on Fridays when the carrier will operate with Emrbaer E175 aircraft.
Croatia Airlines will increase the passenger capacity on its flights from Zagreb to Skopje. The national carrier of Croatia will deploy the Airbus A319 aircraft on Sunday and Monday rotations. This aircraft has capacity of 144 passengers. The Bombarider Q400 aircraft with capacity of 76 passengers will remain deployed on Wednesday and Friday rotations.
Turkish Airlines and Chair will remain to operate once a day from Istanbul and Zurich to Skopje as well as Aegean Airlines will remain to operate twice a week from Athens to Skopje. Nordwind Airlines and Windrose Airlines will also remain to operate once a week from Moscow and Kyiv to Skopje.
Enter Air on behalf of Air Pristina will start the flights on the route Basel - Skopje on July 3.
