As of today, the Saudi Arabian carrier flynas will increase the flights from Riyadh to Podgorica on twice a week. The airline introduced this route last week and immediately saw potential for more flights. They were meant to be operated once a week, every Thursday before, but now they will operate every Thursday and Saturday until early September. The return flight i.e. Podgorica - Riyadh will make a stop in Tirana every Thursday and Saturday before continuing to Saudi Arabia.
The Montenegrin government has previously lifted the visa requirements for the Saudi citizens until the end of September.
Yesterday, the Montenegrin government announced that the airline is considering flights to Tivat next summer season as a result of the big interest. Podgorica - Jeddah route is also planned next summer.
