The Bulgarian carrier Gullivair will terminate the flights from Sofia to Skopje and Tirana this month. The airline launched Sofia - Skopje service in late March and operated twice a week on the route, every Monday and Saturday with ATR72-600 aircraft since then. The flights to Tirana started in mid April after a short delay instead of late March due to the low demand. They were operated twice a week as well and were planned to be increased on four times a week in mid May.
However, the airline has closed the reservations for Skopje on all flights after 21 May as well as for Tirana after 14 May.
According to the Macedonian media, both routes will be terminated because they are unprofitable for the airline.
