Korean Air is going to resume the flights from Seoul to Zagreb in late March this year. The carrier has discontinued this service in 2019 when the route was changed from year-round to summer seasonal and was planned to operate as of March 2020. The flights had been delayed several times since then, and the route ended up being terminated.
However, the Korean flag carrier has already scheduled flights between South Korea and Croatia for the upcoming summer season. They will start with operation on 29 March with three weekly rotations, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Seoul to Zagreb and every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Zagreb to Seoul. The flights are scheduled to operate until 29 October this year.
Korean Air will operate with Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on this route with capacity of 271 seats in two class configuration. 24 of those are "Prestige" i.e. Business Class seats and the remaining 247 are in Economy class.
Korean Air launched Zagreb service in September 2018. The flights were operated year-round with Airbus A330 aircraft via Zurich. Soon after the route was downgraded to seasonal operations with direct flights operated by Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
