Ljubljana Airport handles 37.000 passengers in January!

Ljubljana Airport handled 37.604 passengers during the month of January 2022, representing an increase by over 600% if compared to the same period in 2021 when the airport handled 4.923 passengers only. This still represents a decrease by 63% if compared to January 2019 as well as a decrease by 50.2% if compared to the same period in 2020 when the airport handled 75.472 passengers.

Most of the flights to and from Ljubljana in January were operated by Lufthansa, followed by Air Serbia, Air France, LOT Polish Airlines, Aeroflot, Turkish Airlines, Transavia, Brussels Airlines, Swiss, Wizz Air, easyJet and Air Montenegro. Rossiya Airlines also started operations to Ljubljana from Saint Petersburg.
