Ljubljana Airport handled 45.660 passengers in November, representing a decrease of 46,8% if compared to the same period two years ago, before the pandemic and only two months after the collapse of their national carrier - Adria Airways. The airport handled 85.786 passengers then. These numbers are not even comparable to the numbers of November 2020 as the airport handled something under 5.000 passengers back then.
Most of the passengers were handled by Lufthansa, Air France, Turkish Airlines, Air Serbia and LOT Polish Airlines. Among them, Transavia operated flights from Amsterdam, Brussels Airlines from Brussels Main Airport, easyJet from London Gatwick, Aeroflot from Moscow, Swiss from Zurich as well as Wizz Air from Brussels Charleroi Airport.
