Ljubljana Airport handled 50 928 passengers during the third month of 2022, representing an increase by 544% if compared to the same period in 2021 when only 7 907 passengers were welcomed at the airport. There is an increase by 41,1% if compared to March 2020 when the airport handled 36 094 passengers.
Ljubljana Airport reaches only 38% of the pre-pandemic levels as the airport handled 61,9% less passengers last month then in March 2019 when 133 403 travelers were welcomed.
The Airport handled a total of 126 068 passengers during the first three months of 2022, up by over 590% if compared to the same three months last year when only 18 364 passengers were welcomed.
Ljubljana Airport was connected with Dubai, Istanbul, Nis, Belgrade, Podgorica, Zurich, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, Brussels Charleroi, London Luton, London Gatwick, Amsterdam and Warsaw during the month of March. Most of the flights were operated by Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Turkish Airlines from Istanbul and Air Serbia from Belgrade.
