LOT Polish Airlines is going to suspend several destinations across its network this week, among which are three routes to the Balkan. On January 15 the airline will suspend the flights from Warsaw to Tirana. Further more, on 16 January, LOT will suspend Warsaw - Skopje operations while the services to Podgorica are already suspended.
The airline will not operate to these three routes for around 35 days, or until early March. Warsaw - Tirana flights will be resumed on 1 March and will operate three times a week, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Warsaw - Skopje and Podgorica routes will be resumed a day later, on 2 March and will also operate three times a week, every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Embraer E170 and E175 aircraft with 70 and 82 seats will be deployed on these routes.
LOT will continue to operate from Warsaw to Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrade and Sofia during this period. Warsaw - Ljubljana flights will operate six times a week, every day except on Sundays with Embraer E170 aircraft. Warsaw - Zagreb will continue to operate once a day, seven times a week during the season with Embraer E170 and E175 aircrafts. To Belgrade, the carrier will continue to operate seven times a week, every day except on Sunday as well as twice a day on Monday with E170 and E175 aircraft. Warsaw - Sofia route will operate 10 times a week during the upcoming period, once a day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and twice a day on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Embraer E170, E175 and E195 aircraft is deployed on the flights to Sofia.
