LOT to reduce Skopje and Tirana service & suspends Sarajevo and Podgorica flights over winter!


LOT Polish Airlines will reduce the flights to its Balkan destinations in the upcoming winter-season. The airline will offer significantly less flights from Warsaw to Skopje, Ljubljana and Tirana as well as to Zagreb and Belgrade and will additionally suspend the operations to Sarajevo and Podgorica, turning them into a summer-seasonal routes only.


The flights from Warsaw to Skopje which are operated seven times a week this summer will be reduced on three times a week as of 30th October. The airline will operate every Monday, Thursday and Saturday on this route this winter with Embraer E175 and E190 aircraft with 72 and 112 seats each.


Services between Warsaw and Ljubljana will be reduced from eight times a week this summer to six times a week this winter. As of 30th October, the flights will operate every day except on Thursdays with Embraer E175 aircraft with 72 seats.


Warsaw - Zagreb operations will be reduced from 12 to 10 times a week as of 29th September and will operate once a day and twice a day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Furthermore, they will be reduced on nine times a week as of 30th October and will operate once a day and twice on Fridays and Saturday with Embraer E175 and E195 jet with 72 and 112 seats each.


The operations to Belgrade will be reduced from 11 to nine times a week as well, and will run once a day and twice on Mondays and Tuesdays as of 30th October with Embraer E170, E175, E190 and E195 aircraft with 70, 72 and 112 seats each.


Warsaw - Tirana flights will be reduced from seven to six times per week as of 2nd October and will run every day except on Sundays. They will be reduced again on five times a week as of 18th October and will run every day except on Tuesdays and Sundays. As of 30th October, they will be reduced on three times per week and will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with Boeing B737-800 / MAX 8 and Embraer E190 aircraft with 184 / 176 and 112 seats each.


Warsaw - Sofia service will continue to operate twice a day, 14 times a week during the winter with no reduce until now.




The Polish carrier will not operate to Podgorica and Sarajevo this winter season!


Warsaw - Podgorica route will be reduced from seven to five times a week on 5th October and will run every day except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with Embraer E190 aircraft until 17th October. No flights are available for the winter season.


Warsaw - Sarajevo route will continue to operate five times a week, every day except on Wednesdays and Sundays until 29th October.


The seasonal operations to Pristina will end on 29th September as planned.
