Tuzla International Airport handled record 50 651 passengers in November, representing an increase of 43% if compared to November of 2019 when 35 484 passengers were welcomed. This is the first new record of passenger numbers at Tuzla this year and the first time that the airport overtook its pre-pandemic levels. The number of the aircraft movements is 378.
It comes after Ryanair launched direct flights to the airport from Stockholm Arlanda, Memmingen and Vienna in early November. However, also because of Wizz Air which closed its Sarajevo base two months ago and increased the operations from Tuzla on the pre-pandemic levels.
