The Russian carrier Nordwind Airlines has scheduled flights on the previously announced route from Saint Petersburg to Skopje which will be the second Russian destination for Skopje International Airport this season. The first flight is scheduled for September 28, Tuesday. But. the flights are scheduled to operate until the end of the summer season i.e October 26th. There will be five round-trips on this route in total, one in September and four in October, all of them will be operated on Tuesday. Embraer E190 aircraft with capacity of around 100 seats will be deployed to operate on this route. The airline may continue to operate from Saint Petersburg to Skopje during the winter season as well if there is enough demand. The tickets are already put on sale.
Previously, Nordwind Airlines announced the increase of the flights from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Skopje from twice to three times a week. The airline has put the tickets for this additional weekly rotation on sale. The flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until the end of October. They will continue to operate during the winter as well, but with two weekly rotations on Tuesdays and Fridays. Airbus A321neo aircraft with capacity of 220 seats is deployed for the Wednesday rotations.
