The Russian carrier Nordwind Airlines has terminated its flights between Saint Petersburg and Skopje on November 1st. The airline previously had scheduled flights on this route for all months of the winter season. They had to operate once a week, every Tuesday with Embraer E190 jet by Pegas Fly. However, due to the low demand on this route and the low demand generally during November, the flights stopped. The airline has no further scheduled flights on this route, however this can be changed in the future.
The flights between Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport and Skopje are also going to be reduced as of the next week. They will operate only once a week, every Friday instead of the previously two weekly rotations on Tuesday and Friday. The Tuesday rotation will be operated again as of 21 December until the end of the winter season. Airbus A321 and Boeing B737-800 aircraft are deployed on this route.
