Nordwind Airlines to launch a new Skopje route and to increase the flights from Moscow!


The Russian private carrier Nordwind Airlines has announced plans to launch another route to the Macedonian capital as well as to increase the flights on the existing one. The carrier showed interest for launcing Saint Petersburg - Skopje route after the talks with the Macedonian Government. The flights on this route are expected to start in October with tickets yet to be put on sale.


Nordwind Airlines has also increased the flights on the Moscow Sheremetyevo - Skopje route by adding additional second weekly service on this route every Monday. The tickets for the Monday rotation are already put on sale on their website. This rotation will start as of August 9. Embraer E190 aircraft with around 100 seats capacity will be deployed on Monday while the Boeing B737-800 aircraft will remain to operate every Friday. The flight on this route is around 3 hours and 25 minutes.
