Ohrid Saint Paul The Apostle Airport welcomed 38 731 passengers in August, representing a decrease by 33% if compared to the same month in 2019 when 57 954 passengers were welcomed but an increase of 34% if compared to August of last year when 28 946 travelers were handled.
The number of the aircraft movements at the airport in August is 309, down by 37,9% if compared to August 2019 when the number was 498.
During the January - August period of this year, Ohrid Airport welcomed a total of 158 520 passengers, down by 25,35% if compared to the same period in 2019 when 212 441 passengers were handled.
Ohrid - Zurich was the busiest route in August, served five to seven times per week during the month by Chair Airlines, Edelweiss Air and Helvetic Airways.
In August alone, Ohrid Airport was connected with seven routes by Wizz Air: three times a week with Basel and Vienna and twice a week with Malmo, Memmingen, Dortmund, London Luton and Friedrichshafen. The airport was connected three times per week with Amsterdam by TUI Fly and Corendon Airlines, twice a week with Eindhoven by TUI Fly and twice a week with Katowice by LOT Polish Airlines, Three round-trip flights from Tel Aviv were operated during the month by Arkia Airlines.
