Ohrid Airport to be connected with 9 routes this winter season!


Two carriers and nine regular routes are planned to operate to Ohrid Saint Paul the Apostle Airport this winter season. Eight of them will be operated by Wizz Air and one by Air Pristina. The airport will be connected with seven countries i.e. Italy, Austria. Germany, Switzerland, France, United Kingdom and Sweden.


Wizz Air will continue its operations to Ohrid with two weekly rotations from Vienna, Basel, Memmingen, Dortmund and Malmo and plans to finally resume the operations from London Luton in early December and from Milan Malpensa in mid December also with two weekly rotations. The flights from Vienna and Basel will be increased on three times per week from mid December until mid January. One new route to Ohrid will start with its operations together with the resumption of the flights from Milan. The flights for the new Friedrichshafen route will operate twice a week as of December 18. Airbus A321 is deployed for Malmo, Vienna, Friedrichshafen and London flights while Airbus A320 will operate from Memmingen, Basel, Milan and Dortmund.


Among Wizz Air, Chair Airlines will also operate to Ohrid from its base in Zurich on behalf of Air Pristina this Winter. The flights will operate once a week, every Saturday in November and twice a week as of December, every Wednesday and Saturday with Airbus A319 aircraft.


Edelweiss Air will also operate to Ohrid this winter season, however very few flights are planned between Zurich and Ohrid for each month with Airbus A320 aircraft.
