Ohrid Saint Paul The Apostle Airport handled 33 453 passengers during the seventh month of this year, down by 34% if compared to July 2019 when over 50 000 passengers were handled but up by 36% if compared to the same month last year when 24 765 passengers were welcomed.
The number of the aircraft operations at Ohrid in July is 276, down by 40,5% if compared to July 2019 when the number was 466.
The busiest route in July was Zurich with eight weekly flights operated by Chair Airlines, Edelweiss Air and Helvetic Airways.
During the January - July period, Ohrid Airport welcomed a total of 119 789 passengers, down by 22,5% if compared to the same seven months in 2019 when 154 487 passengers were handled.
Wizz Air is the most dominant airline at Ohird Airport with three weekly flights to Vienna and Basel and two weekly to Malmo, Memmingen, Friedrichshafen and London Luton in July. The airport was connected three times a week with Amsterdam by Corendon Airlines and TUI fly Netherlands, two times a week with Katowice by LOT Polish Airlines, once a week with Eindhoven by TUI fly Netherlands and once every 10 days with Tel Aviv by Arkia Airlines.
