The Turkish low cost carrier Pegasus Airlines will increase the flights from Izmir to Skopje on three times a week. Starting August 6th, the carrier will operate on the route every Saturday in addition to the rotations on Thursdays and Sundays. This third weekly rotation will run until the end of August while the other two weekly flights will continue to operate until 27th October. Airbus A320 aircraft is deployed on this route.
As of tomorrow Skopje and Izmir Airport will be connected four times a week, three of which are operated by Pegasus Airlines and once a week by Sun Express. Sun Express will operate on this route until 18th September.
Pegasus Airlines will continue to operate eight times a week on the route Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen - Skopje, once every day and twice every Sunday with a mix of Airbus A321neo and Airbus A320 / Boeing B737-800 aircraft. Turkish Airlines will also continue its 14 weekly or double daily operations from Istanbul to Skopje with Airbus A321 aircraft.
A total of 43 weekly rotation is operated this summer season between Turkey and Macedonia, 15 of which are from Antalya by Turkish Airlines and Sun Express, 22 are from Istanbul, four from Izmir and two from Bodrum by Turkish Airlines.
