Pegasus Airlines to launch Izmir - Skopje flights!


The Turkish low cost carrier Pegasus Airlines will launch its second route to Skopje this summer season. The airline will launch Izmir - Skopje service on 2 June. The flights will operate twice a week until the end of the summer season, every Thursday and Sunday with Airbus A320 aircraft ( 180 seats capacity ). The flights may continue to operate during the winter as well.


Pegasus Airlines already operate seven times a week to Skopje from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport with Airbus A320 aircraft. This route will be operated eight times a week as of 28 March and the seat capacity on each flight will be increased as the carrier will deploy its Airbus A321neo aircraft with 239 seats.


Pegasus Airlines will directly compete with Sun Express on the Izmir - Skopje route which will launch its operations in mid June and will operate once a week, every Sunday during the summer season. Charter flights will be operated as well.
