Pula Airport welcomed 20 045 passengers in October, down by 53,85% if compared to October 2019 when 43 452 passengers were handled and down by 16% if compared to the same month last year when the airport welcomed some 23 872 travelers. There were 662 aircraft operations last month at Pula, down by 12% when compared to October 2019 and down by 9% when compared to the same month last year. During the January - October period, Pula Airport welcomed a total of 390 834 passengers, down by 49,15% if compared to the same 10 months before the pandemic, in 2019 when 768 899 passengers were handled.
Zadar Airport welcomed 109 182 passengers in October and its one millionth passenger in 2022. There is an increase of 31% if compared to the same month three years ago when 83 590 passengers were handled and an increase of 36,54% when compared to the same month last year when 79 961 travelers were welcomed. There were 623 aircraft operations in October, representing an increase of 32% when compared to the same month in 2019 and a decrease of 1,27% if compared to October of last year. Zadar Airport welcomed a total of 1 099 228 passengers during the January - October period of this year, representing an increase of 38,3% when compared to the same 10 months in 2019 when 794 863 passengers were welcomed.
Rijeka Airport welcomed 9 671 travelers during the last month, down by 41,5% when compared to October 2019 when 16 441 passengers traveled and up by 164% if compared to the same month last year when only 3 644 passengers were welcomed. There were 426 take-offs and landings at the airport last month, up by 2% if compared to the same month three years ago and down by 31% when compared to October 2021. During the first 10 months of this year, Rijeka Airport welcomed 161 684 passengers, down by 18,3% if compared to the same period in 2019, before the pandemic, when 197 902 passengers were handled.
