Qatar Airways will reduce the number of weekly rotations between Doha and Zagreb as of 18 December. The airline is currently operating three times a week on this route, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday with Airbus A320 aircraft. As of Saturday, 18 December, the airline will remove the Monday rotations to Zagreb. These two weekly rotations will operate until late January when the airline will again add third weekly flight on this route, every Sunday.
Qatar Airways is currently operating with reduced flights to Belgrade as well. Five times a week, every day except on Wednesday and Saturday with Airbus A320 aircraft, However the carrier will return the flights on this days in early December and will again operate every day on this route.
Zagreb and Belgrade are the only two routes in Ex Yugoslavia on which Qatar Airways operates this year. The airline operated year round flights to Sarajevo and Skopje as well but both were suspended after the pandemic started in March 2020.
To Sofia, the Gulf carrier will continue to operate seven times a week, every day via Bucharest. The airline connects both destinations to Doha with one aircraft every day i.e. Doha - Bucharest - Sofia - Bucharest - Doha. Airbus A320 aircraft is deployed on this route.
