Banja Luka Airport welcomed 35 871 passengers in June this year, representing an increase by 153% if compared to June 2019, before the pandemic when the airport handled 14 190 travelers. Only 621 passengers were welcomed in June 2020 and 10 367 in June last year, representing an increase by over 245% if compared to the results of the same month this year.
The number of the aircraft movements in June 2022 at Banja Luka airport is 404, representing an increase by 45% if compared to the same month in 2019 when the number was 279.
Banja Luka Airport welcomed a total of 126 580 passengers during the January - June period this year, representing an increase by 92% if compared to the same six months in 2019 when 66 035 passengers were handled. Most of the passengers of the first six months in 2022 were handled in May and June and the fewest passengers were handled in February as the airport was closed for a reconstruction.
