The Irish low cost carrier Ryanair has started the operations on its new route from Zagreb base to Sofia this Tuesday. The airline connected the capitals of Croatia and Bulgaria for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
The flights on this route will operate every Tuesday and Saturday with Airbus A320 aircraft operated by Lauda.
Croatia Airlines operated three times a week on this route, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday before the start of the pandemic. The airline then prepared to return the flights to Sofia last summer but these plans were canceled due to the restrictions and low demand.
