The Irish low cost carrier Ryanair will turn Zagreb into its weekend base this upcoming winter-season which means that the airline will operate flights with its three Airbus A320 aircrafts of Lauda based in Zagreb only on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
There will be no flights operated from Zagreb base on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Instead, Ryanair will use its Boeing aircrafts on the flights to Zagreb that are scheduled on these three days of the week. These Boeing jets are either deployed at other bases of Ryanair which are connected with Zagreb or they will operate the flights on the Zagreb routes using "W-rotation".
"W-rotation" means that a plane of Ryanair from one base will operate four flights on two rotations for two different routes. Example: London Stansted - Zagreb - Podgorica - Zagreb - London Stansted.
As a result, Ryanair has made changes on the winter-season schedule by scheduling most of the flights from Zagreb on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Here is the schedule for each route for the upcoming winter season 30.10.2022 - 25.03.2023:

Ryanair will also reduce the flights on some routes during the winter which were meant to operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The carrier has removed the Wednesday rotation to Paphos, Bratislava and Memmingen & Thursday rotation to Weeze, Malmo and Malta. The flights to Basel on Mondays and to Rome Fiumicino on Fridays are also removed from the winter-season schedule.

Ryanair will still operate on seven routes to Zagreb on Tuesdays, on three routes on Wednesdays and on five routes to Zagreb on Thursdays during the winter. With the aircrafts from Zagreb base, Ryanair will operate to nine routes on Mondays, ten routes on Fridays and Sundays and to eleven routes on Saturdays.
