Sarajevo becomes Wizz Air's busiest base in Bosnia and Herzegovina for December!


Sarajevo International Airport has become the busiest base of Wizz Air in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Tuzla now in the second place. It comes after the airline scheduled more flights from Sarajevo then Tuzla in December. The airline will operate 246 flights from Sarajevo with one and two Airbus A320 aircrafts and 229 flights from Tuzla base with two and three Airbus A320 aircrafts.


Wizz Air will operate on 16 destinations from Sarajevo in Europe and Asia this month, six of them will be launched in mid December and two will be resumed after 15 December. However only one from these six new routes will remain to operate from Sarajevo after mid January and that route is Hamburg. The airline will suspend some other already existing routes from Sarajevo and will have very poor winter season after mid January. The second Airbus A320 aircraft will be deployed on 16 December this year.


Most of the flights will be operated to and from Dortmund ( 26 flights ), followed by Copenhagen and Eindhoven with 24 flights in December as well as Memmingen with 22 rotations this month. 45.342 seats are offered by Wizz Air from Sarajevo during the last month of 2021.
