Sofia Airport handles over 400.000 passengers in September!

Sofia Airport handled 411.088 passengers during the month of September, representing a decrease by over 33% if compared to the same period in 2019 when the airport handled some 622.615 passengers, This also represents an increase by 58% if compared to September 2020 when the airport handled 259.084 passengers.

The number of the aircraft movements was 4.659 during the month of September, representing a decrease by 16% if compared to the same period in 2019 when the numbers were 5.532. It also shows an increase by 40% if compared to September 2020 when the numbers were 3.324.

Most of the flights were operated by Wizz Air, Bulgaria Air and Ryanair.
