Split Airport handled 24.568 passengers in December 2021, representing a decrease by 48% if compared to the pre pandemic levels in December 2019 when the airport welcomed over 41.000 travelers. It also represents an increase by 150% if compared with the results of the same period in 2020 when the airport handled only 8.665 passengers.
Split Airport ended 2021 with a total of 1.577.584 passengers handled, a decrease of 52,4% if compared to 2019 when the airport handled 3.301.930 passengers. The airport also saw a recovery of 134% from 2020 when 674.366 passengers were handled.
