The national carrier of Switzerland - Swiss Air Lines will suspend the flights between its hub in Zurich and Sarajevo due to the low demand. The last flight before the suspension was operated today. The airline will not operate on this route until 10 February. Once they resume the flights, they will operate every Monday and Thursday to Sarajevo with Airbus A220-100 aircraft with capacity of 125 seats in two class configuration. Sarajevo and Zurich will have no direct connectivity until Swiss resumes the flights.
Swiss will continue to operate only twice a week on this route until the end of the winter season. As of 27 March, the flights will be increased on three times a week and will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with Airbus A220-100 aircraft.
