The national carrier of Turkiye - Turkish Airlines will launch its third route to Belgrade this winter-season. The airline will commence Izmir - Belgrade service on 16 February 2023. The flights will run twice per week, every Thursday and Sunday by Anadolu Jet on behalf of Turkish Airlines with Boeing B737-800 aircraft. The carrier will also increase the operations from Ankara to Belgrade by 100% i.e., from twice to four times per week as of December of this year.
Turkish Airlines faces no direct competition on any of those two routes and it will be the only carrier to link Belgrade with Izmir and Ankara by scheduled non-stop services. Along with those two, the airline will continue to link Belgrade with Istanbul together with Air Serbia.
