Turkish Airlines will operate on 13 destinations to the Balkan in the upcoming winter-season. The airline will operate from Istanbul to Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Dubrovnik, Podgorica, Prishtina, Skopje, Sofia and Varna, from Ankara to Belgrade as well as from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Sarajevo and Prishtina. Only Istanbul - Tivat route which was launched this summer will not operate during the winter as it is summer-seasonal route only.
Over 125 weekly one-way flights will be operated by Turkish Airlines this winter. Most of them or 21 weekly are scheduled to Sofia with no decrease or increase if compared to this summer, followed by Belgrade with 19 weekly flights, one weekly flight less then this summer season, Podgorica with 14 weekly flights which is four flights more then this summer, Skopje with 14 weekly flights with no decrease or increase, 13 weekly flights to Sarajevo which is three flights less then this summer, Zagreb with 12 weekly flights representing a decrease by one or two weekly flights then this summer, Prishtina with 10 weekly flights with no decrease or increase, 9 weekly flights to Ljubljana with no increase or decrease, Varna with five weekly flights and Dubrovnik with two weekly flights. Ankara - Belgrade route will be operated with the same number of rotations i.e. twice a week, while the flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gokchen to Sarajevo and Prishtina will be increased on three times a week.
