Turkish Airlines has launched the flights from Ankara to Belgrade. The route will be operated twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday with Boeing B737-800 aircraft in behalf of Anadolu Jet. This is the first time that both capitals are directly connected.
“This service presents an opportunity for our Serbian friends to visit both Ankara and Cappadocia. In addition, the flight from Ankara will connect our guests from Belgrade to important tourism centres such as Antalya and Izmir, as well as a further 31 domestic and 23 international destinations from Ankara. We aim to expand our Ankara base by 50% in 2022 compared to 2021. This new route from Ankara to Belgrade is an important part of this growth strategy. We will offer affordable prices on this route to enable our gusts from Turkey and Serbia to take this opportunity to fly to these beautiful cities” - the airline said.
