Windrose Airlines has suspended the flights between Kyiv and Sofia earlier this month due to the low demand caused by the new travel restrictions. They will be resumed again as of 18 December with three and four weekly rotations. The airline will operate one flight on Saturday, 18 December and then three times a week during the last two weeks of December with flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. One last rotation on Sunday will be operated on 2 January 2022 and will continue to operate three times a week in January by returning the Saturday rotation on 08.02.2022. This schedule will be used until 26 March 2022. ATR72 aircraft will be deployed on this route.
