Wizz Air has deployed its fifth Airbus aircraft at Skopje base on 16 December after the jet made its delivery flight from Budapest to the Macedonian Capital. The fifth jet is an Airbus A321 and it is third of this type to operate from Skopje among with two Airbus A320s. Wizz Air previously planned to deploy an A320 in Skopje and to operate with three A320s and two A321s, however this is changed due to an increase in the demand.
Wizz Air has finally saw its recovery at Skopje yesterday when all five aircrafts departed at 6 O'clock in the morning. The carrier operated on 12 routes from Skopje yesterday using all of its fleet. Wizz Air has its best fleet at Skopje until now. With three A321s and two A320s, Wizz Air now offers up to 1.050 one way seats.
Among the increase of the fleet, the carrier also resumes the flights on another seven routes to Oslo Torp, Vaxjo, Treviso, MIlan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Barcelona and Paris Beauvais today. However, all of them will be operation until mid January. Then, they will be again suspended until early or late March 2022 when the summer season starts.
